Concho Memorial Day Parade - May 26

This is the only Memorial Day Parade on the Mountain. Each year participation has grown and this year promises to be the best. All entrants must be registered by May 21. Contact the Activity Center for registration forms. When the parade winds up at the Lions Park, a ceremony will be held to honor all who have served in the military and defense of our country. Participants and veterans will be treated to lunch which can be purchased at a modest price by non-participants.

Concho Fire Department needs volunteers
The Concho Fire Department is in need of Volunteer Fire Fighters. It costs nothing to join. Be a part of the solution and contact John Bedway at (928) 337-3206 for more information.

The Lions Club needs your help!

The Lions Club Park Volunteers need your help with necessary repairs and additions to the Park. If any community members can supply materials or labor to help take care of this wonderful asset to our town, please contact the Concho Activity Center. You can also help out the park by adding an extra amount to your Livco Water or Sewer bill each month which will be applied directly to the park's water bill.

The Concho Valley Lions Club needs new members! The CV Lions Club has given the gift of good eyesight to many Concho residents over the years. In addition, without the extraordinary effort of our wonderful Lions Club, we would not have the great park we all enjoy so much. Only a few dedicated members continue to maintain the park which is a heavy responsiblity. If community members do not come forward to lend a hand, there is a real possiblity Concho could actually lose this beautiful park.
Please call Chris Bennett at 337-4665 x312 if you are interested in helping with the park or joining the Lions Club.
