Areas of available sewer service
Sewer utility service is provided by CWID to residents and businesses in Concho Valley in 1B, 5A, 5B, 9, and 9A subdivisions and some parts of the original Concho Townsite.
New sewer service requests:
For residents: $70 refundable deposit is required plus an establishment fee of $25.00
For businesses: An establishment fee of $25 plus a refundable deposit of the 2.5 times the monthly estimated sewer rate
For new sewer connection:
Customer is responsible for all costs plus tap and connection fees to connect to existing main sewer line and to adhering to all county code requirements. A CWID representative must be on site when customer connects to the main sewer line. Please give CWID at least 5 business days notice before the line is connected. The connection must be scheduled on a Monday through Friday. All sewer customers are required to install a cleanout between the main sewer line and their building. It is highly recommended to use a licensed contractor to install and connect the sewer hookup. A deposit and an establishment fee are required before service is connected.
Hookup fees for new connection: $1,300 for new services within the district including permit.
Request to join the district: $1,000 application fee to join the CWID district. Before applying to CWID, contact the office to make sure the location of your property is reasonably close to the existing sewer lines.
